Bond Applicant Finance

If you are a property owner granted a new, further, or switch bond and need quick access to a portion of the funds, Rand Connect can provide an advance before registration. Typically, once the bank approves your bond, they will instruct an attorney to register it at the deeds office, which usually takes about 30 days before you can access the funds.

How to Apply and Timeline:

1. Application Process:
   • The Rand Connect application form is usually completed by your attorney and then signed by you.
2. Assessment:
   • Rand Connect’s credit department will assess the transaction. Depending on the value, certain transaction documents may be required for review.
3. Payment:
   • Once approved and if all necessary documents are provided, payment is generally made within 24 hours of receipt of the documents.
